0.27 the zero can be a 100 or something else
0.27 as a decimal but as a fraction it looks like this
27/100
5/10 as a fraction but as a decimal it looks like this 0.5
13/100 0.13
To add and subtract decimals you need to line them up
0.01 zero and one hundredths
2.50 two and fifty hundredths then you add them together you do the same with subtracting.Multiply is the same way you still have to line them up so everything is correctly.
